UPDATE, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14: Details of the event announced, sort of – we are down to a few final decisions about which ones to put in, and which ones to leave out, so here’s the long-list, no harm to keep everyone guessing:

  • Basketball Challenge -dribble up and shoot from free throw line
  • Passing challenge – up the court & run back down
  • From half way line – kick the ball into an empty goal, not as easy as it sounds.
  • Some form of a race with ladders, a sit up, press up and maybe a jersey change

See you all at 6.30pm Saturday.

UPDATE, THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13: Change of plan – this event is now going ahead at 6.30pm in Lakeside Sports & Fitness Centre. Weather factors! So, it’s change of venue and a change of time. See you then.

 

Be in Flanagan Park for 7pm start this Saturday night. It will go ahead under lights – details to be revealed on the night.
But it will be a skills-based, intellectually-stimulating, sportsmanship-promoting, playing-field-levelling challenge – just like the Rugby Club’s last Sunday week.
Put it in your diary.
Afterwards, we go to Costello’s to review the event in full.
