By Ann Cannon, PRO, Ladies Football

The U12 ladies played their first away match against Carnacon on Friday 1st April. Again we had another great turnout with 19 players all of whom had game time.

The ladies again displayed tremendous skills and courage  in very mucky conditions. Even though we lost narrowly in the end our young ladies continue to learn and with each game are becoming more used to competitive games.

Thanks to all the parents and the ladies themselves for showing up to training and matches.

Training is again on this evening, April 6th from 6pm to 7pm

This coming Friday April 8th our next league match is at home at 6pm against the Neale. Please make sure to arrive in plenty of time to tog out and be on the pitch for warm up before the game.

Please note that it is the policy of Ballinrobe GAA Club to have all children dropped off and picked up at the dressing rooms for both outdoor training and matches.  This is to ensure the safety of all our players. Children are not permitted to walk to car park on their own.

As always, gumshields are mandatory.  Also, players cannot wear jewellery or hair slides.
