Week 1 of the Boys U10 Pella league has set the scene for what is shaping up to be an extremely competitive league. Two of the four games were drawn and the remaining two games were close fought affairs with the largest margin being just two goals. On the first week’s showing, the abilities of the teams seem evenly matched and as a consequence every team should have a justifiable ambition to win the league outright. The standard will improve week on week as players get used to the game and grow in confidence so we can expect more goals and excitement in the weeks ahead. Three words of advice for the players – “Pass And Go”. In a league impossible to predict one thing is certain – the team that best learns to pass and move will be the team that wins.

And finally, thanks to everyone for turning up early as a result of which we were able to maximise the playing time for all the games,  Des May, U10 Coach
