Mary Murphy, Church Road, Kilmaine, whose death has occurred, was mother-in-law of long-serving club stalwart Martin Murphy. The club extends it sympathy to Ann, Martin, and broader Murphy family on their sad loss.
Martin has served in virtually every role in the club, and was goalkeeper on our team that won the 1979 Mayo intermediate football championship. He has also been an inter-county referee.
