Well done to our Robe Rockets, Ladies teams and Parents who represented Ballinrobe GAA Club in the St Patrick’s Day parade. A sea of maroon and yellow congregated at Crann Mor Centre not long after 3pm, accompanied by a full size Rocket and with players accessorized with club coloured tassels and the all important whistles the scene was set for a fun and noisy afternoon!!
A most enjoyable afternoon was had by all and the parade provided an opportunity to highlight the success of our Robe Rocket section of the Club. Special word of thanks to Cara, Siobhan, Naoise, She Sha, Lizzy, Michael, Oran, Emer and Christy Transition Year students from Ballinrobe Community school who kindly built the rocket, Andy Walsh who organised the building of the rocket, to our parents who accompanied the children, our club coaches, Robe Rocket Committee members who organised and guided the group on the day and to Padraic Delaney who once again provided all players with lollipops after the parade.
