Ballinrobe GAA club extends sympathy to the family and friends of Peter McCartan, whose sudden death took place on Saturday and who was laid to rest in Roundfort today.
Peter was an extremely well-known man in this area, as he was a former PRO of Hollymount-Carramore GAA club, and he also contributed articles and broadcasts to Mid West Radio, the Western People, the Mayo News and various other media organs.
We also extend our sympathy to the Hollymount-Carramore club, who have lost a valued member.
