As you know from this post HERE, the death took place recently of a former chairman of our club, Mick Mulvey.
We have been in touch with St Kevin’s GAA club, Melbourne, which Mick helped to found.
They have kindly sent on an electronic version of their club history, which you can read HERE.
It reveals that Mick gave a £40 loan to purchase the club’s first set of jerseys. How appropriate then that the blue and gold of St Kevin’s was draped on his coffin.
