We wish every success to Ballinrobe rugby club who today return to their spiritual home the Green.
The club has been playing their home games in the race course for many years and we’re sure it will be an emotional return to their old stomping ground today. Their opponents are Gort and a large crowd is expected.
Many of our players also play rugby at various levels and two years ago we teamed up with the rugby club and Ballinrobe Town FC for a very successful Mayor of Ballinrobe fundraiser which was won by the rugby club’s Peter McHugh. Enjoy the day one and all.
