David Waldron, a native of Milltown who teaches in Claregalway, is the new manager of the Ballinrobe senior football team.
He was ratified at last night’s meeting of the club’s Executive Committee.
Details of his backroom team will be finalised shortly.
He is wished every success in the role.
Ballinrobe have been drawn in the same group as Castlebar Mitchels, Ballina Stephenites and Crossmolina in the Mayo SFC.
The players have been training over recent under weeks under the guidance of player Conor Keane, who is a qualified fitness specialist and the owner of a popular gym in the Ballinrobe area, and David’s involvement will commence this coming weekend.
