The sudden death has taken place in Las Vegas, America, of Conor Brady, son of Maureen Ford, Ballinrobe, and her husband Peter Brady. The Ford family is synonymous with Gaelic games in Ballinrobe. Maureen’s brother Peter Ford is one of the most decorated players and managers ever produced by Ballinrobe GAA club, while her brother Robbie also played with the club for many years.

Maureen has always been a keen follower of the club’s fortunes. Maureen’s late father Bob was a Galway and Connacht senior hurler.

Conor Brady represented Sligo at minor and U21 levels, playing his club football with St Patrick’s.

Ballinrobe GAA Club extends its sympathy to Conor’s parents, Peter and Maureen,  brother Donal, sister Shaunagh grandparents Pat and Sally Brady, and Peter and Robbie Ford.
