U12: Grading League Group 3

By Ann Cannon, PRO, Ladies Football   We have two weeks training outside behind us already and are now coming to the first of our Grading League matches on Monday next, March 28th at 6pm in Flanagan Park. Please take note of the table below with the dates of all the upcoming fixtures. We would love for as many parents/guardians to stay for the matches if possible and support our young ladies. Please note that it is the policy of Ballinrobe GAA Club to have all children dropped off and picked up at the dressing rooms for both outdoor training and matches.  This is to ensure the safety of all our players. Children are not permitted to walk to car park on their own. As always, gumshields are mandatory. The coaches for the U12 team are Declan O’Loughlin, Elaine Tracey and Terry Duddy. We always welcome help so if you can spare some time and are interested in helping out please let us know.

The winning Teams received footballs and all players received an Easter egg to acknowledge their effort and hard work throughout the league. The Pella league fulfills one of the key planks of our coaching plan, namely to play football virtually all year round. Over the last 6 weeks skills improved, new friendships formed, confidence grew and most importantly plenty fun was had by all. Thank you to everyone for their cooperation during the league and all those who helped out in anyway. Training returns outdoors Friday 25th March at 7pm in Flanagan Park.

U10 Boys Pella Results Week 5

By Annette Conway, PRO Robe Rockets Des May, U10 Coach provides a detailed report on the Semi Finals of U10 Boys Pella League. “5 weeks, 10 hours of excitement, 20 games, 42 players and 214 goals – I’m exhausted just typing it. What a tournament it’s been. The final pairings have been decided but it’s fair to say all eight teams could have reached the final – of the 20 games so far, 5 were drawn and 12 won by two or less goals. It’s been a very competitive and entertaining league and all the players deserve great credit for their effort, their enthusiasm and their skill – I hope they have enjoyed it and grown in confidence in their abilities.  Please consult the schedule attached to see what time each team is playing on Friday. Thank you to everyone for your cooperation during the league”. U10’s boys will be starting training outdoors on Friday 25th March at 7pm.  Match Schedule 18th March U10 Pella Teams 2016 Team A Team B Team C Team D Team E Team F Team G Team H
