Fun Run/Walk in aid of Order of Malta.

There will be a Fun Run/Walk in aid of Ballinrobe Order of Malta on Sunday 29th June at 10.30am from the Green and round Carnalecka and back to The Green. We would like to have as many members as possible on the day in Club Jerseys supporting this worthy cause. Soccer and Rugby clubs are taking part wearing their jerseys on the day also to show their support. Sponsorship cards are available from Ann Burke(0872972251) at Lakeside Centre. BALLINROBE GAA CLUB KELLOGGS CUL CAMP JULY 14th – 18th JULY Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps provide boys and girls – between the ages of 6 and 13 – with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games Activities are GAME – BASED – a strong emphasis is placed on skill acquisition – and are organised in an age appropriate manner with a view to: optimising learning enhancing friendships improving physical & psychological well being promoting school and club links KEY FEATURES ABOUT KELLOGG’S GAA CÚL CAMPS The camps are structured so that a different aspect of the game is worked on each day. The programme involves coaching specific skills of the game and the opportunity for children to put into practice what they have learned through small sided games. On the last day of the camp a “blitz” will be organised to provide each child with an introduction to competitive games. Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps – are run throughout the summer from Monday to Friday, 10.00am to 2.30pm, in all 32 Counties and overseas. (see Camp venues for dates). Attendance is open to primary school children aged 6 years to 13 years. Get behind the lads versus Knockmore

Sasturday, 7pm, Flanagan Park – we need everyone there. We play Knockmore in the Mayo SFC, round two, and want to have a strong local support behind the team. Children are admitted free of charge. We are distributing flyers to local schools and at our Academy on Saturday morning to make sure we get everyone to the pitch Saturday night to give the lads a good cheer. It’s a big game for the club and one we need to win. See you there.

O’Mara Cup visits our Academy

We won the O’Mara Cup in 2013, and on Saturday morning last, we brought the cup along to Flanagan Park to show our young male and female footballers, who enjoy their skills academy every Saturday at 9.30am. Below are some of the pictures that accrued from the visit. We give the O’Mara Cup back this Saturday night when Garrymore and Shrule-Glencorrib face each other in the final replay at Flanagan Park, Ballinrobe, at 7o’c. All club members are asked to come along to help with stewarding at this game.
