The club are holding a Family Fun Run/Jog/Walk on Sunday 10th September @ 2pm. Registration will take place from 1pm at JMS motors on the Ballyglass Road on the day of the event.   We have now over 330 registered juvenile members and any monies raised will go towards the development of our underage structures within the club.  With this in mind we chose this fun run as a way of involving as many people as possible in a healthy activity while raising funds for the juvenile section of the club. It is hoped that runners and walkers of all levels will participate.  We would ask those taking part to please obey the marshals and rules of the road at all times. Could those driving to the event please park in one of the car parks in town to avoid causing hazzards along the route. The route for the event is starting at the top of the Ballyglass road, continue on past Church view estate, Carnalecka turn right, Clongowla turn right and keep on Congowla road (Bog Road) until the finish line in Abbey Street.  

This year we are delighted to have J.J. Burke Renault as sponsors of our Minor team. Without the support of the local community and businesses we would not continue to develop and promote sport and in particular Gaelic football in the town. Ballinrobe GAA Club would like to thank longstanding sponsor J.J. Burke Renault for their continued support of our club. For the third year the club will be hosting a U12 Blitz on Thursday 24th August @ 6:30pm to 8:30pm in Ballinrobe. Four teams will compete for the Christy O’Loughlin Cup, with all teams playing each other with a third/fourth place playoff and overall final. The teams participating are  Ballinrobe Mayo Gaels Carras The Neale Please come along there will be some great young talent on show and sure to be some very exciting games. Parents are asked to contribute some small items so that we can provide refreshments to visiting players and supporters.  

Best wishes to our U16s players and coaches who will compete in the county final on Tuesday 22nd August in McHale Park at 6:30pm, their opposition will be Kilmovee Shamrocks. It is a great reward for all their hard work during the year. Let bring a big following to support the lads.
