Well done to all our U10 and U12 Boys who took part in our first ever Street League. On a sunny Autumn afternoon, 8 teams with 70 boys played nearly 3 hours of football all representing the area they live. We were treated to wonderful displays of skill, Team work, pure determination and we even had extra time in the Cup Final between Mayo and Donegal. We wish to thank all those who helped with the planning, organisation and running of the day both on and off the pitch. On behalf of the Club we would especially like to thank Colm Jennings, Coaching Officer, Des May, U12 Coach and David Conway U10 Coach for making this idea a reality. Congrats to Donegal winners of the Cup and Kildare who won the Plate. Our U6’s were welcomed onto the pitch as is tradition in Rockets by members of the U8 and U10 Rockets with the entrance music to welcome all teams provided by Croke Park, it set the scene of what was a memorable day for these young girls and boys. As a memento of the day each child received a medal to remember the first day they put on the Ballinrobe jersey.   From us all in Robe Rockets we would like to thank the U6 Castlebar Mitchels for being part of our Debut Day. Thanks to all involved, on and off the pitch who made the day run smoothly.
