Sasturday, 7pm, Flanagan Park – we need everyone there. We play Knockmore in the Mayo SFC, round two, and want to have a strong local support behind the team. Children are admitted free of charge. We are distributing flyers to local schools and at our Academy on Saturday morning to make sure we get everyone to the pitch Saturday night to give the lads a good cheer. It’s a big game for the club and one we need to win. See you there.

John Sheridan, Drumhill, Ballinrobe, was the sole Ballinrobe GAA club winner in the first of the Mayo GAA Board 2014 draws held last night (Monday, June 16). See details of what John won, and all other winners, HERE Thank all who supported the draw – a significant portion of the funds repatriate to Ballinrobe club.

We will have our previously postponed Club Awards night on the 30th May next in Fitzpatrick’s Bar (Inchs), Ballinrobe. This was postponed previously as a mark of respect to the late Pat Malone rip. Ballinrobe GAA club would like to wish every success to our major sponsors, Vaughan Shoes, who take over the running of iconic store, Hynes’ Shoes, Castlebar tomorrow (Friday). That brings to three the total of shops the Vaughan family now run – here in Ballinrobe, a little east of here in Claremorris, and now Castlebar. Great to see a success story start here in Ballinrobe.
