U10/U12 Ladies first trip out of Mayo

Ladies U10/U12 with Mary Langan, take their first trip outside the county. On 23rd July our U10/U12 ladies played Clonbur ladies in what was a very exciting match.  Our ladies, shown above with Mary Langan, Coach and Ballinrobe Ladies Football Club Secretary, displayed great skills and team spirit on the field.  Every match proves our ladies are getting stronger on a weekly basis and that the twice a week training is really paying off. – Aidrienne Gleeson, PRO, Ballinrobe Ladies Football club

Safe travelling + good luck to the Robe lads @VaughanShoes @cozzy21

Safe travelling to all who are making the trek today. We have ‘skin in the game’ in both Mayo games – Padraic Costello Jnr is a Mayo junior selector (Junior with the juniors) while Donie Vaughan plays for Mayo seniors and Fergal Costello is a member of the backroom team. We wish all three – and both Mayo teams – every success. And, to keep the home fires burning, we are still looking for a few to do a Church Gate collection for the Disabled Drivers Association tomorrow morning. Let Liam Horan know if you can do it. For obvious, unavoidable reasons, we will not be taking up this collection this evening. See you all in Applegreen, where the miracle of the loaves and fishes is re-enacted every championship Sunday, and not a word at all about it.

Church Gate collection

Ballinrobe GAA Club will this weekend take up the Church Gate Collection for the Disabled Drivers Association of Ireland, who are based in Ballindine. Any member who is available to help out with the collection should contact Liam Horan, 087 9185 867, liamhoran09. For obvious reasons (i.e. Mayo v Donegal, throw-in 6pm, Saturday), we are particularly keen to find people who are available for the 7.30pm Mass on Saturday.
