Coach Education Training 2014

As part of the Coach Education Programme for 2014, there will be a Foundation Award for football course on Monday 10th February and Wednesday 12th February in Hollymount Community Centre at 7.00pm each evening.  No previous football experience is required. Anyone who has already completed a Foundation Award can complete the Award 1 Youth – Football over 4 Evening Sessions on February 24th & 26th , March 3rd & 5th 2014 in Elverys McHale Park. Registration for all underage players  (Boys aged 6 – 17/Girls aged 6 – 11)) will take place on Wednesday 22nd & 29th January between 6.30pm – 8.30pm at the Maple Youth Centre, Bowgate St, Ballinrobe. Irish Cancer Society Bag Packing

We are looking for volunteers to Bag Pack in Tesco Ballinrobe on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th December  in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. South Mayo Minor Finals

Flanagan Park will be the venue for a double header Friday 4th October, when the South Mayo Minor A & B Finals take place. The Neale face off against Hollymount/Carramore with winning All-Ireland Mayo Minor captain Stephen Coen at 6.30pm in the B Final. At 8pm Claremorris, including All Ireland winners Mark Mulligan and Ronan Finn  will take on Davitts in the A Final. Should be a very entertaining evening of football.

Support for Oisin

Calling all Ballinrobe Musical Society members – past, current and potential newbies – we are looking for singers to join our chorus for a charity concert we are holding to raise funds for Gemma Gannon’s son, Oisin, who represented Ballinrobe GAA Club at underage level. The concert will be held in Ballinrobe Community School on Thursday 31st October with rehearsal dates confirmed for the 29th and 30th October. Other rehearsal dates will be confirmed next week.
