U12 Boys Blitz

The club held a very successful U12 blitz at the agricultural show on Sunday, 29th July in Ballinrobe Race Course. Four teams took part in the Christy O’Loughlin Memorial Cup – Ballinrobe, Shrule/Glencorrib GAA Club, Neale Gaa and Clg Thuar Mhic Éadaigh. The many spectators who came were able to enjoy some great football from the four teams on a lovely summers day. A big thank you to the referee for the matches Mark Tuffy, to the participating teams and coaches – you all did your clubs proud.   Thanks also to the Ballinrobe Agricultural show committee for inviting us to take part. Thanks also to the show committee, Ballinrobe coaches and Ballinrobe Races staff for preparing the playing area and ensuring we all had a very enjoyable day.

Ballinrobe Cúl Camp 2018

It’s all over for another year as the 2nd week of Cúl Camp concluded. There was a fantastic turnout for both camps with 265 kids participating. A fun filled two weeks was had by all with great skills and talent on display. A big thank you to all involved and to Kevin McLoughlin, Mayo Senior Player who visited both camps. Early signs of the rivalry ahead of Mayo’s 💚❤ U20’s All Ireland Final surfaced as a number of Kildare jerseys were spotted on the last day of camp. Our U9/10/11’s were not too impressed especially with Club and Mayo star Evan O’Brien present. Well done to all.
