Congratulations to Ballinrobe Community School on their victory over Ballyhaunis Community School in the Mayo First Year football championship last week.
We are very proud of the fact that nine Ballinrobe club players featured on the squad, led by team captain Adam Flannery. The nine are Adam Flannery, Jason Butler, Conor O’Brien, Cian Sheridan, Eoin Gilrane, Dylan Sweeney, Jack Woods, David Opora and Johnny Heneghan.
These players have come through our underage system in recent years, particularly the Academy, and it is very gratifying for the club to see them rise through the ranks.
Additionally, they have had successes at U13 and U14 levels with the club recently.
