Ballinrobe Community School has made a flying start to the 2015 / 2016 Gaelic football season, with the Juvenile team capturing the Mayo A championship when taking the notable scalp of Rice College, Westport.
The team received the Christy O’Haire trophy – Christy was a key figure in Ballinrobe and Mayo GAA for many years before his sudden and untimely passing in 1996.
