The late Paul Carney

Ballinrobe GAA club extends sympathy to the Carney family on the death this week of Paul Carney. Paul’s brother Tom is an active coach and administrator in our club, and served as club chairman before the current incumbent Alan Flannery. In his youth, Paul played for Ballinrobe GAA club. This week’s meeting of the club’s executive committee was postponed as a mark of respect. Funeral details are available HERE May he rest in peace.

B’robe U12s to play half-time @ Mayo v Tyrone game

  Big news for Ballinrobe GAA Club, as the under twelve boys and girls (born 2003 only) will be donning the maroon and yellow, to take to the pitch in McHale Park at half time in the Mayo v. Tyrone game. Note: Selection will be based on all born in 2003 but all are welcome to travel. With large crowds expected on the day, this will be a memorable day for Ballinrobe GAA and especially for all of the girls and boys attending. So come one, come all and get yourselves down to McHale Park on Sunday the 8th of February to cheer on the Ballinrobe girls & boys and to give Donal Vaughan and Kenneth O`Malley, and the rest of the Mayo team, our full support. Meet at Cornmarket @12.15pm to get on bus. Everyone should be An Sportlann, Castlebar at 12.50pm. Please let Kevin know if you will be traveling independently.  All children are welcome to travel.
