Academies take their summer breaks

Thursday, July 31st, here are the details for our under-age Academies vis a vis summer breaks. Both Academies are now on their summer breaks. The boys will restart on Wednesday August 13th, at 6.30pm. The girls will restart on Saturday, August 16th, at 9.30am. New players are welcome all the time. Thanks to all our coaches who have made the Academies so successful this year, and we look forward to an excellent second half of the season. And, remember, keep using and improving your newly-acquired skills. We have had a number of problems with our text system this year. If you are not getting texts, please email secretary.ballinrobe.mayo@gaa.ie  with the following details: 1. Name of your child(ren) 2. Your correct phone number 3. Your preferred email address Only parents/guardians of players who are registered will receive the texts, of course.

U10s win Mulroe Cup for third year in succession

A report is to follow here shortly.   MONDAY, July 28: Congratulations to our U10 team who won the Mulroe Cup at Tourmakeady Show yesterday (SUNDAY) for the third year in a row. Good luck to @ballinroberfc – big day today

We wish our colleagues in Ballinrobe RFC every success on their big day today (Tuesday, July 22nd) when they host the Connacht rugby squad at their new facilities at The Green/Ballinrobe Town Park. The official opening takes place at 2pm and all are invited. You can read more about it HERE The club colours of black and white are proudly displayed all over Ballinrobe this weekend in anticipation of the event. We enjoy excellent relations with Ballinrobe RFC and recognise the great work they do to promote sport in this part of the world. The Connacht team will also attend Ballinrobe Races this evening, as you can read HERE Promises to be a big day in town.
